Majestic Dragon in Ipswich

Food critics can be tough. But the Majestic Dragon was great for getting my local Chinese food. Fair price and good food.

Foods pretty good, but drinks are straight jet fuel.

Nice atmosphere and serve good drinks. More of a singles sports bar than a family restaurant

This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and they can make a dish spicy. As a trucker I've had Chinese food in several different states but this one has been the best one in a long time. A++ don't miss out. The locals are lucky to have this place

Chinese food at this restaurant and bar. Ok to call in your order before pick-up. Bar very popular. Go early to avoid the rush. Food is excellent and there is a varied menu. Restaurant side has many booths for seating. Service is quick. Enjoy!

The food was delicious . We were seated promptly and served quickly. The waitstaff was very curtious and friendly and prices were very reasonable.

Best Chinese food around the north shore area. Great food, reasonable price and very welcoming staff.

I go most Saturday nights with a ton of my friends for karaoke night. Bartenders are on point and hard to not have a great time jamming out with a bunch of friends. I typically just get a few appetizers and they are pretty good but what's more impressive is how fast they get your food to you after you order. Be ready to eat after ordering haha Prices on drinks and food is very reasonable. If your looking to have a good time on a Saturday night then come on by!

Great drinks and excellent food. The salt and pepper squid is a personal favorite.

Dont get take out. They can never get it right. I mean never. Rice was old. My last time there!

Not a welcoming place. We sat at the bar and it took a few minutes to get waited on even though there were 3 servers look right at us. The bar top was sticky and the place is older and looks a little run down. There were regulars in all the other seats at the bar and they were very loud and obnoxious. The positive is that when we did get helped the Mai Tai was good and the apps we got were decent. I would not suggest this place unless you are picking up take-out.

Pretty typical Chinese restaurant. The quality of the dishes varies greatly. The crispy beef is very good whereas the beef with green peppers is disappointing. Some of the appetizers are exactly as you would expect, but some come in a little below average. The General Gau's is average as well.The lunchtime meal combos are a good value, as you get a lot of food for ~$8.

My go to bar. Open late and cheap drinks. The bar is usually a busy place with a lot of friendly people. The staff are amazing and remember what you drink after a few visits. The food is okay.

I've been going here since I was a little kid. Nothing that truly sets it apart from other Americanized chinese restaurants, but the food is always good, the drinks are strong, and the staff is friendly. One of my favorite comfort locations.

You never know who you'll meet.. the mi Tia's are know to many and many are served. A great spot for keno food and characters..

Seriously, $2.50 for a take-out condiment that wasn't available in a tid-bit combo?!! I throw away more soy sauce and other condiments that I would never use, but ask for sweet and sour sauce for the tid-bit #3 and I got charged $2.50! The difference between an appetizer of Chicken fingers and an order of Sweet and sour chicken is less than $.75! Way to take care of your regular customers!

Low prices and good quality Chinese-American food. Lots of people do take-out here, although they do have a lot of seating and can also handle groups well. The kitchen is incredibly fast. If you call in an order, it will be ready before you get there, even if you live next door. The bar attracts a collection of regulars. Sports and news on TVs, and pool. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but it's not divey either.

Great food , and very strong drink . It's a local place but the staff are very friendly as are the locals.. when I lived in the area this would be my stop after work and I worked 3-11 pm they are usually open later than most bars and serve food late too

Very good, made to order food with large portions. I recommend sharing your entrees. Service was efficient but not friendly. The outside of the restaurant is deceiving because you do not realize how big this place really is inside. Easy access from US Route 1 in Ipswich.

This restaurant is my favored. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I go the most. The crew is very amicable and the cooking they offer is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Alas, I've had take out food from this.restaurant for 20 years. Chicken lo mein, no chicken was evident. Generals gaus chicken, breaded chicken disguised as chix fingers with lots of breading. Sechuan beef 6 pieces of beef, lots of vegetables, crummy..Dont bother mediocre, tasteless, bland. Save your money.Just plain, BAD.As a local , I won't be going back.
